Following the above mentioned great thought in Mumbai under the leadership of Shri Laxminarayanji Biyani, a well known name in social, religious and educational arena, Shri Devkinandanji Bubna, activist of Rajasthani society, Shri Madanlalji Rathi, Shri R.M. Bhattad, Shri Ramvilasji Hurkat (Maheshwari), Shri Vishwanathji Bhartiya, Shri Satyanarayanji Agrawal, Shri Gopalji Biyani and Shri Raviji Lalpuriya formed a trust named Parmarth Seva Samiti. On 19th of july 2008 in the company of His Holiness Swami Bisweshwaranand Giri Ji Maharaj had laid the foundation of Parmarth Seva Samiti.
Impressed by the initial functioning of the Trust Mr. Nandlalji Goenka, Shri Manmohanji Goenka and Smt. Nishaji Suman Jain also joined the trust board. And now this team is enthusiastically devoted to charitable work of Parmarth Seva Samiti. Today, Parmarth Seva Samiti has become the leading socio-cultural and religious organization of Mumbai. In 2010 after sudden demise of Shri R.M. Bhattadji his son Shri Bhagwandasji Bhattad has been included in the trust board. Famous socialist Shri Vijayji Khetan also joined board in 2015.
Parmarth Seva Samiti is committed to its underlying and definite objectives. And some of the important objectives are to provide medical facilities to economically weaker section of our society, provide food to needy people so that nobody will die of hunger, providing education to children, organizing religious and cultural events in the society for moral awakening, Gau-Seva & Natural disaster relief work.
As the Samiti expanded its foothold in the social service sector its growth root has widen. Parmarth Seva Samiti formed its regional committees in Juhu, Malad, Bhayandar, Chembur, Thane, Bhivandi, Andheri and South Mumbai. All these regional committees are doing social services in their respective regions and adding fame to Samiti.
