The committee has so far organized more than 70 blood donation camps and collected and distributed 20 thousand units of blood to the needy people. Blood collected in these camps is kept in the Blood Banks run by the various health centers in Mumbai. And when needy people approach the committee it is made available to them. In this work we get very good cooperation from doctors and other staff of various hospitals, railways and other government and non-government organizations. Mumbai and the whole nation will never forget 26 November 2008. Committee played a very important role in saving the lives of people injured in the terrorist attack by organizing blood donation camps and making it available to them. From that time, every year on 26th November committee organizes mega blood donation camps on various places at a time, collect large amount of blood and distribute it to the needy people.
